Het LAKtheater biedt tal van cursussen op het gebied van kunstzinnige vorming, zoals toneel, dans, tekenen, schilderen, zang en fotografie.
Het LAKtheater is een onderdeel van de Universiteit Leiden en toegankelijk voor iedere belangstellende. Op allerlei manieren kun je deelnemen aan activiteiten op het gebied van kunst en cultuur. Het LAKtheater beschikt over een theaterzaal, studio's voor toneel, dans en muziek en ateliers voor beeldende kunst. Je kunt toneel- en dansvoorstellingen bijwonen, exposities bezoeken en je kunt deelnemen aan tal van cursussen op het gebied van kunstzinnige vorming, zoals toneel, dans, tekenen, schilderen, zang, fotografie en Literatuur. Studenten van de Universiteit Leiden betalen minder cursusgeld dan anderen.

Practical information
At the LAKtheater you can take part in all kinds of artistic and cultural activities. The LAKtheater is part of Universiteit Leiden, but open for all public and those interested.
We offer a diversity of classes in the education of the arts like drama- and singing classes, different styles of dance, and also 'plastic arts' courses like painting and basic drawing techniques, as well as digital photography. Students of Universiteit Leiden get a price reduction on the enrolment fees of our courses.
We have studio’s at our disposal where you can practice drama and singing and a special dance studio with a mirrored wall and a bar. We also have special art studio’s for the plastic arts.
Besides studio’s we have a theatre where you can see performances of dance or theatre of professional theatre- and dance groups. Check Avondvoorstellingen for our theatre programme.
