Dance improvisation

For whom
Beginners and advanced, with an interest for dance (re-inforce your technique of dance by accessing new layers of awareness).

Content
The course is about developing skills for dance improvisation/ open form composition. You learn how to compose dance in the moment through improvisation and reversely how to improvise with pre-set movements. It is about decision-making thanks to a commitment to multi-layered awareness of the space, others, the self, the movement that emerges. The course starts with a physical warm up that develop movement qualities and dynamics. Exercises then focus on developing the multi-layered awareness, and on live-processes. The class closes with a gig, where the teacher does not anymore set rules, but the group makes the choices and enjoys!
